- 6 -8 pound turkey breast
- 4 tablespoons butter (or 1/4 cup olive oil)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
Directions
- Rub turkey with butter (or olive oil) and half of the spices.
- Place turkey on 1 inch rack breast side down, add extender ring to the tray and put the dome in place.
- Roast turkey on High (or 350°) for 12-14 minutes per pound.
- Half way through the cooking time, turn the turkey breast side up, add remaining seasoning and finish cooking.
- Use a food thermometer to insure the minimum internal temperature has reached 165 °F for safety.
- Let the turkey rest for 15 – 20 minutes before carving to allow juices to set.
