• 6 -8 pound turkey breast
  • 4 tablespoons butter (or 1/4 cup olive oil)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika

Directions

  1. Rub turkey with butter (or olive oil) and half of the spices.
  2. Place turkey on 1 inch rack breast side down, add extender ring to the tray and put the dome in place.
  3. Roast turkey on High (or 350°) for 12-14 minutes per pound.
  4. Half way through the cooking time, turn the turkey breast side up, add remaining seasoning and finish cooking.
  5. Use a food thermometer to insure the minimum internal temperature has reached 165 °F for safety.
  6. Let the turkey rest for 15 – 20 minutes before carving to allow juices to set.
